Coach – High School– Coach Jess is one of our own Warrior alumni. She graduated from Calvary Bible College, aka Calvary University, with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling where she also played volleyball and basketball. After graduating from college she returned home to coach her old high school team, the Omaha Metro Warriors. She has coached a total of 11 years of volleyball and 6 years of basketball. Her passion as a coach is to help athletes see the value of bringing God into every practice and game. Jessica’s goal is to encourage her players to work their hardest for the glory of God, while still having fun and learning more about living life in community (teamwork). Reminding each of them that “whatever you do, do it HEARTILY, as to the Lord and not to men” (Colossians 3:23). She is excited to coach each girl the Lord brings her way. Not only on the court but also through the practical lessons of life that arise through each sport.
Coach – High School – Coach Rachel has been coaching Warrior volleyball and basketball for the last 6 years. She is a Warrior alum and discovered her love for coaching as a senior in high school. She went to Grace University where she played 4 years of volleyball and basketball and got a degree in middle school education. Rachel was an assistant coach for Grace volleyball for one season and a History and P.E. teacher and coach at Bellevue Christian Academy for two years prior to returning to the Warrior program. She is currently a stay-at-home wife and mom to four boys: Jett, Lincoln, Henry, and Duval. Rachel has a passion for the game and for coaching the game because of the life lessons that can be learned and applied while playing the game. As a coach she seeks to teach the skills of the game and teamwork, push her teams to work hard and finish strong, give confidence, and encourage character building.
Coach – Junior High – Coach Haley has been coaching Warrior basketball since 2016. She is a homeschooling mom of four
children: Amelia, Norah, and twins Callen and Fiona. She played basketball through high school, on one State Championship and two second place teams. Coaching has brought her back to the game she loves. Laura enjoys teaching both new and experienced players of all abilities. She focuses on fundamentals while working to challenge and improve skills of Warrior players. She encourages the girls to work hard, but also to have fun while playing. She enjoys watching the girls grow through the season in not just their basketball skills, but also in the friendships they make while coming together as a team.
