Volleyball Coaches 2020

Jessica Miszuk

Head Coach – Varsity – Jessica Miszuk is one of our own Warrior alumni. She graduated from Calvary Bible College, aka Calvary University, with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling where she also played volleyball and basketball. After graduating from college she returned home to coach her old high school team, the Omaha Metro Warriors. She has coached a total of 11 years of volleyball and 6 years of basketball. Her passion as a coach is to help athletes see the value of bringing God into every practice and game. Jessica’s goal is to encourage her players to work their hardest for the glory of God, while still having fun and learning more about living life in community (teamwork). Reminding each of them that “whatever you do, do it HEARTILY, as to the Lord and not to men” (Colossians 3:23). She is excited to coach each girl the Lord brings her way. Not only on the court but also through the practical lessons of life that arise through each sport.

Precious Stange

Head Coach – Junior Varsity 1 – Precious is also a Warrior alum. She grew up watching her aunt play through high school and started playing for the Warriors in 7th grade. This is her second season coaching for the Metro Warriors and she loves every minute of it! Precious has a passion for the game and to teach the girls to work hard and play for the glory of our Lord.  “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

She is a Warrior alum and discovered her love for coaching as a senior in high school.  She went to Grace University where she played 4 years of volleyball and basketball and got a degree in middle school education. Rachel was an assistant coach for Grace volleyball for one season and a History and P.E. teacher and coach at Bellevue Christian Academy for two years prior to returning to the Warrior program.  She is currently a stay-at-home wife and mom to four boys: Jett, Lincoln, Henry, and Duval.  Rachel has a passion for the game and for coaching the game because of the life lessons that can be learned and applied while playing the game. As a coach she seeks to teach the skills of the game and teamwork, push her teams to work hard and finish strong, give confidence,  and encourage character building.
